Four more days…

For some of us, that means there are still four days to make-buy a gift. For others, it’s four days to relax, enjoy family and friends, holiday music and make something just for the fun of it.

So we’re sharing a few of our holiday projects from years’ past.

Christmas Stars. Using strips of fabric, these stars are easier to make than they look. We’ve got a step-by-step tutorial.

Layer Cake Drawstring Bags. We used a Layer Cake of Swell Christmas to make 21 adorable gift bags. We shared our process based on an online tutorial. There’s also a pattern by Valori Wells titled Petal Pouches – she includes a terrific array of sizes.

Christmas Village. Surely you don’t intend to settle in for a marathon of holiday movies without a comfortable Christmas-theme pillow?! Using a Christmas charm pack or your red-and-green scraps, this pillow will make up quickly.

Have a terrific weekend!

  1. I made these stars this year. They are so pretty! What’s stellar is you can use any scraps and colours and they look so nice. You don’t need Christmas fabric. Thankyou for good instructions.

  2. Merry Christmas Carrie~~you and Moda and Quiltstock was a great gift for me this year!! I hope you have a wonderful New Year!!!
