One of the best things about Quilt Market – in my opinion – is getting to see new things to make, and learning how to do it. Tips and tricks – even this “old dog” has plenty to learn.

So in addition to new fabrics, these are a few of the other things we’re excited to be sharing and debuting in Kansas City.

Sarah Watts of Crafted Moon. Sarah will be sharing her clever, creative and “crafty” art in the form of prints, cards and gifts. We’ll be sharing more about Sarah and Scott soon. Until then, Sarah will be in the Notions booth on Friday, May 17 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and on Saturday, May 18 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Deidre Meyer of Meori will be showing our favorite Meori storage boxes, bins and totes on Friday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Do you know about the Meori collapsible storage? I’m a fan as these bins are terrific for keeping WISPs together. (Works in Slow Progress.)

This is the Small Foldable Box – I might have one or two in Hibiscus Red. And the Tangerine Mini Boxes… they are my favorites.
We’ll also have a demo table in the Notions booth where – in addition to the book-signings – we’ll be sharing a few of our favorite new projects. Jen Kingwell has a terrific template tool to make Bunting using Layer Cakes and Charm Squares. There’s also the Bitsy Box by Ticklegrass Design – the cutest little boxy zipper bag ever. (Ever.) And the Zakka Workshop Pretty Patchwork Squeeze Pouch. For shops, these are great classes. For you and me? All three were fun to make. (Ask me how I know.)

So there will be plenty to see, especially if you’re on Instagram and Facebook.
Happy Thursday!
Love it all but I am a sucker for little bags.
Love the flex frame bag. It’s so cute!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the squeeze pouch! Can’t wait for the pattern! I am ready!
Love your information. Love the tiny boxes.
Adorable! The Bitsy box looks like a perfect use for layer cakes. I’m looking forward to the pattern.
Cool projects. I would love to have a basket of Fat Quarters like the one your graphic designer is holding on the cover of the magazine. Gorgeous.
I, too, am looking forward to the Bitsy Box tips and tricks. Too cute!
Love to see or preview the Bunting tool you refer too…looks like a fabulous week!
Also can just any person go to Quilt Market or only those associated with the industry?
Looking forward to the Bitsy Box
I’m loving the squeeze pouch and cannot wait for the pattern. It’s so darn cute!!
Carrie, I’m anxious to see your tips and tricks for the Squeeze Pouch and the Bitsy Box. I haven’t attempted a tote or bag yet–I’m a bit intimidated. I haven’t sewn a zipper since Home Ec class MANY years ago. lol. Would love to be able to conquer these two new patterns!
LOVE the Pretty Patchwork Squeeze Pouch. Any chance you might do an on-line class?
I too LOVE the Patchwork Squeeze Pouch and the Bitsy Boxes – TOO CUTE!!! I hope you will show us HOW-TO…thanks for sharing things at Quilt Market with us! I know it must be a lot of work but also fun.
