Block Heads 2 – Block 29

Boo!  Happy Halloween!

I love Halloween… maybe not as much as Martha Stewart but there’s something about it that I’ve always loved.  The funniest part is that I’m not a big fan of pumpkin-whatever… though there is a Cheesy Baked Pumpkin Pasta with Kale recipe that I’m just a wee bit obsessed with making.

This week’s block is an easy one!  If you’re wondering why, there are two reasons.  First, I was able to see the other forty-eight blocks before “choosing” my four.  Having seen a few of them, I wanted an easy block that would allow everyone has a chance to catch up.  (Including me!)

Second – I was able to see the other forty-eight blocks and knew we needed a few “breathers”.

Okay, and third, I love Log Cabin blocks in every variation and permutation.

Block 29 – Courthouse Steps.

It’s made with the lovely Rachel Remembered by Block Head Betsy Chutchian.  And yes, Moda Michele to my rescue.  Market… ’nuff said?

Remember… if the blogs aren’t up or the links aren’t working, check the Moda Block Heads 2 Archive.  Because if you’re reading this, it’s already been updated and it will have what you’re looking for.

To see what the other Block Heads have done with these blocks, check out their blogs and Instagrams:

Then be sure to check the Moda Blockheads Facebook Group and the blocks being posted on Instagram – #ModaBlockheads

That’s it for Week 22 – Block 29!

That too.

  1. Hi there… I’ve been keeping up but just curious on how long this is gonna go for? How many more weeks and how many blocks total? Will layout pattern suggestions be given or are we on our own for that? Sorry for all the questions, I looked and read everything but can’t find any answers.

    1. Hi Donna! There are 52 blocks and this will continue through March. There is a layout pattern but you’re welcome to change that. Of course you won’ see that until March!

  2. I’m glad it’s an easy block because I need to catch up too (how about a catch up week or a short break perhaps arund Christmas?) I love pumpkin soup and PSL now because it was really wrm here in October I wondered how pumpkin ice cream would taste;-)
Have a great time at Market I can’t wait to see all the pictures I’m sure you share with us!
