It’s Friday. The pre-Market catalog drops on Monday with more than a dozen new collections. Spring Market in Portland is less than two months away. (Ack!) And today is National Puppy Day!
This is Max. He’s a terrier mix and he 11 months when this picture was taken by Elias Weiss Friedman – aka The Dogist.
This is Stretch. He’s Stacy Iest Hsu’s creation using her Woof Woof Meow collection – it’s titled All Wrapped Up. (And okay, so Stretch might be the name I gave this quilt.)
Woof Woof Meow is in shops now. A stack of Stacy’s hand-drawn dogs and cats, bones and paw prints, and a super-cute panel.
This is my favorite fabric in the collection – Small But Mighty. (I may have gotten a piece for a zipper bag.)
It’s pink! What’s not to love?
Ditto. This is 11-week old mini-Aussie Shepherd Daenerys Targaryen. That face… those eyes! (I’m guessing her parents are fans of Game of Thrones.)
There’s been plenty of work the past few weeks with getting patterns finished, others started – designed, and now it’s all ready to go. Catalogs have shipped to the Sales Reps and the digital version will be on www.modafabrics.com next week.
I’m never going to get caught up with my sewing “want to make this” list.
With Market approaching, the Sample Room is busy making space for the new fabric collections that are arriving every day, so that means moving out “old” fabrics that are shipping or getting ready to ship in the next month. Like the beautiful Pepper & Flax by Corey Yoder of Coriander Quilts.
These are Corey’s – the quilts and the picture. From left to right – Lemongrass, Garden District, Dappled, 9th & Vine and Barn Star.
Make something beautiful. Those are the words on the front of each pattern. With Pepper & Flax and these patterns… I think that’s definitely do-able.
This is Barn Star – it’s a one-big-block quilt that finishes at 40″.
Because it’s Friday, and because we need to make room on the shelves, we’re going to give this kit and these patterns to one winner. (Backing and binding included.) Just leave a comment by Midnight on Sunday, March 25. Any comment. Weekend plans. Do you like yellow? Do you have a barn? Really – any comment will do.
From The Dogist. If you’ve not heard of The Dogist, it is a very popular blog and Instagram created by Elias Weiss Friedman in 2013. After being laid off from a job in advertising, he decided to pursue something more authentic and creative. Inspired by friends in New York City’s startup-entrepreneur culture, he chose to combine the two things he had loved since childhood – photography and dogs. Two books – The Dogist: Photographic Encounters with 1,000 Dogs and The Dogist Puppies – world-travel, charitable works and many thousands of dog pictures later, he’s a busy, happy man.
That’s it for today – Happy Friday!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the puppy pics!!! And, the new fabric collection by Corey Yoder is gorgeous-darn, just when I thought I would try and shrink my stash along comes a great collection like this.
Beautiful dogs, beautiful quilts!! I love Corey’s new Pepper and Flax line and can’t wait to get some! I’m currently sewing 2 projects using V and Co’s ombre confetti line and Fig Tree scraps. Waiting on Nest and Pepper and Flax!!

Do you think spring mkt will ever come to the east?!?!?!I would just love to go
Yes to yellow. No to a barn…which I kept reading as BAM…LOL…time for new readers. Thanks for the dog pics. Quilts and dogs are my weakness. Corey’s fabric and patterns are gorgeous!
A big fan of yellow and this is scrumptious. I’m not a big dog fan (I know, don’t hurt me!) but these puppies? oh my, how darling! Hoping for some sewing and gardening time this weekend.
I would love to make a quilt from Pepper and Flax! It is beautiful. Got my dog, got my cat, ready to quilt!
Well yellow IS my favorite color and I love mixing it with gray and black, so I’m in! Going to go spend time with my puppy on her special day!
I love the Pepper and Flax color combination. I already have a JR but wouldn’t mind a little more from this collection. The color scheme is quite different from others in my stash. I don’t have a barn, but I always enjoy spotting barn quilts.
Those puppies are just the cutest. What a great way to start a day!
I’m taking a lone star quilt class tomorrow, and I’m excited!
Love the pictures of the companions! Beautiful. And this patter, is the one I’ve been looking for! One big block for my grandson Hunter! He needs a ‘waggin’ quilt, made by his Oma!
Wow, what a luscious shade of yellow! It reminds me of the yellow I picked out for my childhood bedroom walls. A truly happy color to start your day with….
Thanks for the chance to win!
Just love Corey’s collection. And how appropriate to print on the front of the patterns “Make Something Beautiful”. The puppy pics are just adorable.
No barn, but we love our Mexican rescue dog Max! What’s the expression – not sure who rescued who? Corey’s palette is so soothing.
Love this fabric! And I love my dog!
I love the barn quilt and would love to make it. The fabrics are wonderful.
I love this barn block Quilt and what a lovely line of fabric. I have always wanted a smaller version of a barn block for my fence. Since that will never happen what could be better than a quilted version? I love those adorable dogs.
Love the colors and 39th and Vine! The Barn quilt really catches my fancy. Yellow is my favorite color – but I don’t have a quilt that is predominantly yellow yet!

I LOVE YELLOW & GREY. Such pretty fabric. When I started making Quilts , it was hard to find 100% cotton and if you did you never could find yellow. Fabric has come a long way. I would love to win. Thanks.
Pick me! Pick me! I’ve been lusting after this very springlike collection since Corey first started posting about it. I totally that green mixed in there. I’m heading to Little Rock for a Sweet Adeline contest this weekend, so I’ll have plenty of time to sew once I’m back. Sure would love to be the lucky winner of this great prize!
Adorable puppies! Thanks also for the reminder about Pepper and Flax … when I saw early pics of it in her blog I wanted to remember to get some when it was available. Don’t want to miss it!
The puppies are SO CUTE!!! And of course, ANY beautiful quilt fabric and pattern is hard to resist!
Puppies and quilts- a win-win combination. Those yellows are gorgeous! Thanks for featuring them.
I love puppies and I love yellow. They both brighten my day.
I love puppies, and I love yellow! Both of them brighten my days.
I can’t wait to see all the new things that will be introduced at market. Love the pattern previews.
Sadly no sewing this weekend (apart from small things in the car). But we’ll travel to attend a concert with my grown up daughter. So I’m really a very proud mother.
Got my rescue pup when she was 8 months old. 7 years later she is still the Queen of my home. So much love.
Eek! I love the patterns & fabric!!
I love these fabrics and patterns! My weekend plans include seeing my parents, and having friends over for a game night. And church, if course!
Barn Star looks like something I’d like to do. Beautiful fabrics!
Looking forward to seeing and being tempted by the new fabric lines. My daughter has an Australian Shepherd and he is a great family pet. The last time we visited, Tucker took it upon himself to give us a wake-up call every morning.
I love Corey Yoder’s fabrics and patterns.
Those dogs are adorable…and so are the fabrics in Corey’s Pepper and Flax collection. I’ve purchased her bundle of patterns from her Etsy account and am now waiting for the fabric to be released. Love the yellow…just makes me happy.
Sweet puppy faces 🙂 Love the Pepper and Flax fabrics and beautiful quilts made with them. I’m really digging the pink fabric you chose for a zipper bag as well!
Love the colors love the puppies. Then again I haven’t seen a fabric or a puppy I haven’t fallen in love with.
The Pepper & Flax collection is just gorgeous. And I particularly love the Barn Star pattern! Beautiful. Of course, the puppies are all adorable, too.
Barn was taken down years ago and replaced with a big shop that is begging for a barn quilt on its front! I’ve gotta have the beautiful barn quilt of Corey’s in my house as well. I like the cheerfulness that yellow inspire!
Love the new collection and patterns. I’d love to make 9th and Vine.
Yellow. What can I say, I drive a beautiful yellow car!
I love yellow. I have yellow kitchen counters even.
Thanks for the puppies, great way to start the day!
Our puppies grew up to be dear beloved old girls who have sadly all crossed the rainbow bridge and I miss them every day. That fabric and those colors are luscious! Thank you for the chance to win!

Pretty collection and the puppy pic are cute too.
What could be more prescious? Dogs or quilts? Maybe babies….babies on quilts! Enjoyed today’s post!

Wish I had a barn!! Awesome colors!
All those adoreable puppies!!! And I LOVE the barn star! I live in the Midwest, so it’s perfect for me!
I love the puppy pictures and I think a Lemon Grass quilt is in my future.
Love Corey’s quilts and fabrics. Every day should be puppy day, people would be in a better mood!
I have wanted to paint a ‘barn quilt’. I think Barn Star will be my starting place. I don’t have a barn to put it on but I do have an easel on our front porch.
Me, me, me please! Lol! Even if I don’t win, I will be buying the barn quilt pattern. It’s exactly what has been in my brain. I don’t have a barn, but I do have a hangar. Does that count?
Love the Pepper and Flax. I want to make all the quilts shown!
Very happy to say I don’t have a puppy this year on National Puppy Day. They are a handful. The fabrics and quilts are beautiful. Would love to win.
I really like Pepper and Flax, think that I should buy some!
After having WAY too much snow……I am ready for something springy!
Love Corey Yoder! My first Modern was her Make it Modern quilt. I even quilted mine like Angela Walters quilted it. I would really like to make Barn Door. Pick me!!
Yellow is my favorite color and Corey’s yellow is just perfect. I’ve been anxiously awaiting her new collection for months now … I want it all!
Been collecting yellow fabrics for a future quilt.
I have painted a Barn quilt for one of my barn’s but right now it is in the window of my Studio cause I can’t get my grandson’s to nail it to the barn. I need to work on them. Love the fabric and the quilt. Thanks, Nancy Pleimann
I love anything from Corey Yoder of Coriander Quilts, and this is no exception. Just beautiful!
I loved the puppy pictures. I like the color combinations with pepper and flax . You can’t go wrong with gray, black and yellow.
Sewing and cooking—my favorite two activities, and “Lemongrass” fits the bill for both of them!!
I love the Coriander quilt designs. Would love to make them all. Keep posting about the puppies. We all need unconditional love.
Love National Puppy Day! Our family now has a Great Dane puppy who is 17 weeks old and about 50lbs! BOOMER. He is such a goofball. I bet he would look great in yellow ;o)
Love the colors and 9th &Vine!
I love puppies and quilts. We have 3 dogs and lots of quilts.
Love 9th & Vine!! I never used to have yellow in my quilts, but now I am seeing it sneaking in more and more….Corey’s new fabric collection is amazing! And those puppies are awesome!!
Thanks for a great giveaway!!
Love, love the barn star, I don’t have a barn, but sew what. My week end plans include judging a 4-H food show. The little ones are so cute, and the older children are so earnest. It is a lot of fun.
Great fabric for the dog lover in our family. Busy now with new calves in our calving barn so barn pattern would be fitting.
I LOVE the picture of MAX! I had a dog named Max who passed but I now have Chester who looks so much like Max. Chester is such a snuggle bug and my little shadow. Dogs make life so much better!!!
I saw Barn Star of Corey’s blog and fell in love. These are my colors…..I want them all!!!! Well off to get ready for company this weekend (no sewing). Chester is in for a treat – his cousins are coming, lucky dog!!!!
⬆️ What they all said. Sweet puppies, adorable quilts. I love Stretch!!!
My daughter and her husband recently bought an old farm. My daughter asked if I would make a quilt for the attic bedroom that is painted bright yellow. She also asked if I could design a Barn Quilt for their barn. Now you have given me inspiration for both in one post! Thanks!!
I have a garage that looks like a barn. Does that count?
Love the colors and love the puppies, but wish you had a “jump to comment” button. Or did I miss it?
I love the combination of yellow with gray, but those yummo greens in the collection really send me over the moon!
What a beautiful soft color way. Love it! The puppies are cute too.
I also love puppies, but not training them so much. Kittens don’t need much training, tho’. I’ve often wondered why God makes puppies, kittens, babies so darn cute!
I’ve just discovered Corey Yoder and I’m already in love with her fabrics! I just recently lost my old “puppy” and so I’m enjoying these pics a lot. Thanks!
I’m not a big fan of yellow but I do like this. The patterns are great, especially 9th & Vine and the Barn Quilt.
A breath of spring on a dreary day – thank you for sharing the beautiful new fabrics!
Pick me! Pick me!!
Aww the puppies are so cute. Thank you for a generous giveaway!!!

This cute barn quilt says “Let the sun shine in” to me! Love this collection and everything Coriander
I am a farmers wife and we have barns and other out buildings. We’ve been talking for years about a barn quilt—hasn’t happened yet–but someday! I’m laid up with a broken ankle now–the leg that runs my Juki, no less. The ideas are going on paper as fast as I think them. First order of business is to finish the wedding quilt for my son by June, if possible. I love Coriander’s style!!!
What’s not to love about puppies and quilts! My daughter just moved back in with us and brought her son (a sweet dog that I just love to pieces)! Thanks you for the giveaway! I never win, but there is always hope!!!
Love the Pepper & Flax. Looks like sunshine and spring. I am going to need the Barn Star pattern. I think it would be adorable for baby quilts and just the right size.
Love it all! Puppies, fabric, patterns and life in general right now! So much to be thankful for!
Love the color yellow.
A post about puppies and beautiful fabric! Who couldn’t resist that?
I love all Corey Yoder’s fabrics–this one is especially happy. I NEED a barn so I can put a barn quilt on it, but have been planning one for the back of my house where I hang out, I can fake it out there! 🙂
Yellow = Spring, soon?!
Love all the puppy pics…….Quilts ain’t bad either!
I love Pepper and Flax, but I have sworn off buying any new fabric this year! How fun is that?!? But I didn’t say that I couldn’t win any! Haha. We have two yellow labs. One is 1.5 years old and the other is 11.5 and the new one doesn’t leave the old guy alone! Poor guy LOL. Thanks for this chance.
Do three sheds and two dogs count? Of I’f only the dogs could have puppies, I could put up another shed!
The puppies are darling. almost as hard to resist as fabric. Love the yellow and calm looks to the quilts.
Puppies are so cuddly—and look especially cute snuggled up on a quilt of yellow. Yellow is such a happy color, and one of my favorites!
Love the quilts. The soft colors are great for spring. I’d love to win the patterns and kits, especially if one of the puppies come with them
Lov’n this collection and I do like yellow!!!
Those puppies are so cute!! I do like the color yellow. It makes me think of the sun and warmth. This kit would be very much appreciated for its warmth since we’ve had two spring snowstorms and it seems like the winter weather will never end.

The quilts are perfect for spring with the soft colored. I would love to win th kit and patterns, especially
If they come with a puppy
I love the yellow and green and grays…and look forward to Pepper & Flax so that I can start on Garden District. The puppy pics are precious! My “puppy” is a 15-year-old mini wire-haired dachshund who still runs and plays like she’s a puppy…a daily reminder to my increasingly gray-haired self to remain young at heart! 🙂
I don’t have a barn, but I do plan on making the Barn Quilt. I would also like to make the Lemon Grass quilt. Love them.
Yes to yellow, gray, or gold! Love the Lemongrass pattern!
Love the puppies and love the fabric! Would love to win this giveaway….wow!
Really do have a barn but would rather make that quilt for my family as it is so bright and cheery!
Yellow reminds me of spriNg and I am ready for warmer weather and yellow flowers!

The Barn Star fabrics are beautiful, the yellow really pops.

Oh, the puppies!!! ❤️☺️❤️
I would love to make the barn star quilt! Have a great weekend!
Barn Quilt – perfect project to go on my kitchen wall. Those puppies would look good in my kitchen too.
I know this time of year is hectic for all of you, but I look forward to seeing all of the new collections! The Barn Quilt is my favorite of all of them- someone is going to be very lucky- and happy!- to win this!
I love the little puppy, they’re adorable. And I really like the Lemongrass quilt, very pretty. I’ve been thinking about starting a log cabin quilt, this looks like something I’d love to do. My plans this weekend are to take out two rows of a quilt that I thought I’d finished; I took another look, and I’ve reversed two strips. Good thing forecast is for snow, I’ll be staying in with my seam ripper!
I’m so glad to see that Pepper and Flax is shipping. Ever since I first saw pictures from Quilt Market, I’ve wanted this fabric, and I LOVE that Barn Star quilt pattern. A win-win situation!
I love the colors in Pepper and Flax!
Love the Barn Quilt! Wouldn’t it be fun to make many of these using your favorite fabrics in each one? Authentic ETC in one; Harmony in another; and so on~~
The dogs & puppies are darling and make me miss my Miss Rosie, a Brittany, even more.
Thanks for the opportunity to win! If I do I will share with my quilty friends!

Love the puppy pics! Yellow is one of my favorite colors. I am going to finish my jelly roll rug this weekend!
do you suppose Moda would let us trade in our old stashes for some of these new lines? Or better yet, trade in our old non-Moda stashes…. (some people have non-Moda fabric laying around, I’m sure)
😉
Well who can resist puppies? Those are some adorable pictures!
Yellow for spring!
I love that yellow fabric and all the rest of the fabrics that go with it! I really want one of those little white puppies in the last picture!
The Pepper and Flax line of fabric is lovely. Would love to make a quilt with that line!
The dogs are adorable and the quilts are awesome.
2 mini aussies, both rescues and the loves of my life, a barn and a beautiful spring day. What more could a girl want, except maybe a few yards of this new fabric line to brighten the day. Have a great market.

Adorable puppy day! I love fabric and quilting!
Yellow is my favorite color. Pepper and flax would fit right in with my stash. Also am planning a barn quilt this year.
i do like the pepper and flax line. For me, yellow is a happy colour and the greys look so nice with it. The patterns are tempting. The Irish chain derivations have lately been in my wish list but I think dappled would be my choice. (because I am dapples) The dogs are so cute and I just adore the dachshund quilt-adore it and my daughter loves it. What a great quilt for children too. I wish I had a barn. I was entranced a few years ago when I was staying in the Englehart, Ontario area and the county had made a project to put barn quilts on the barns to celebrate the Plowmatch coming to the area. Why can’t there be house quilts on the houses in the suburbs?
Oh my, what a wonderful job….dogist!! They truly are a quilters best companion 🙂
While I love Moda fabrics I love, love, love these puppy photos.
The colors in this line are beautifully classic. I can see some of them in my stash soon. And, oh the dogs, I want one of those too.
You can’t beat dog photos – be it puppies or the fully-grown variety! I don’t have a barn but I do have a small shed in the garden…does that count?!!

Have a wonderful weekend!
the puppies are adorable and the fabric is beautiful !! Happy happy spring to you !! I LOVE Moda !!
Who can resist a puppy? I think such a person needs immediate emotional therapy with lots of love and attention. Hey, that’s most of us! Yes, I love yellow, especially these yellows mixed with grey and green. I’m hearing the 9th and Vine whispering my name, “Come to me. You need me.” Just four grandchildren quilts to do first. That’s all. Ha ha. At least I will have them quilted by someone else.
Love yellow, love barns (my mom’s a farmer’s daughter) & love Pepper & Flax!
Weekend plans are to sew and clean house, but just a bit for the latter one! I love yellow! One of my fav three colors. Nope, nowhere near a barn! Enjoyed the pictures of the puppies.

Love mustard yellow’s, have added them in several quilts. Plans for the weekend–sewing of course, and quilting with Church group, and a High School play. Love all the puppies, wish I could keep all of them. Have a great weekend.
I love quilt blocks on real barns, so I would love to make my own barn star quilt!
We are headed to Yosemite for our son’s last Spring break before graduating from UCLA. They have gotten some snow this week, so it should be beautiful.
Love, love, love puppies, I have a 150 yr old barn on my property and yes to the yellow and gray. Love this blog also. Always informative.
Love the puppy photos and that kit! Thanks for a chance to win!
My quilting friends refer to me as “the Moda girl”… and that makes me happy!!! Just left Lancaster AQS show & wish you were there!
Those quilts look like spring.
I’m thinking that 9th and vine pattern would be great with batiks (and a puppy or two!).
Love the puppy pics. Finishing up some appliqué this weekend.
LOVE the puppy shot!!!
I love the barn star pattern!!!! What a great baby quilt that’ll make. Plus one for my walls.
Beautiful quilts. No barn, no pets. Thank you for the opportunity to win.
I Love puppies and I Love Yellow!!
Puppies are God’s way of keeping us grounded … otherwise why would the word DOG be GOD spelled backwards??
I had not heard of dogist. We must be kind to all of God’s creatures.
I love yellow. I don’t have a barn. I’d really like four of those kits in order to make a four-block quilt. And a pretty border fabric to enlarge that to queen size so it fits my bed. Can you do that, Carrie? No? Ah, well. Including the backing and binding is a great bonus. I do have plenty of batting, Thanks to you and Moda for your generosity. Keep it coming.
I’m a huge Corey Yoder fan and my stash is in need of more pretty yellows!
Great puppies – everybody needs one.Pepper and flax is my latest must-have. Who can resist yellow and grey?
This barn quilt is yummy and it brings back fun memories of growing up with a with a big gray barn. Sometimes my sister and two brothers would have ‘corn battles’ stationing ourselves opposite each other on bales of hay stacked high on either side of a stairway that led down to the level cows could be stalled in inclement weather. My grandfather wasn’t too keen on our pastime in the barn adventures!.
Wow, I love Corey Yoder’s fabrics and Quilts. I need to add yellow fabrics to my fabric supplies. We have had three snow storms in the last three weeks and also electric outage twice. Corey Yoder’s Dappled 9th & Vine Quilt and also her Barn Star Quilt are beautiful and seeing them, they remind me that Spring is coming soon!
Love this quilt and yellow and yes I do have a barn and two cocapoos:)
I want the puppies. ALL of the puppies.
and
I want the fabric. ALL of the fabric.
🙂
We used to have a barn – a big one. Now, we have a garage; not so pretty. I LOVE yellow, I love Corey Yoder’s fabrics and patterns, and I love Miss Rosie’s Quilt Co. I’m working on Cake Mix #2 Recipe with Corey’s Sundrops! It’s gonna be gorgeous. 🙂
A barn star with yellow would be awesome!
Love the new fabric and Stretch! Wish I were that imaginative to come up with such a cute idea.
Dont have a barn but I have a chicken house with bright lemon yellow floors. Love yellow and I love mixing it with every other color out there.
LOVE the yellow version of Barn Star! And yes…I would LOVE to win this kit….looks like a very spring quilt that could be done (including the quilting and binding) in a weekend! Reminds me of a daffodil. 🙂
And who doesn’t LOVE puppies? Border Collies are my favorite…had a black & white one (brown eyes)…her name was Daisy. BEST. Dog. Ever. ! ! !
Puppies!!!!!!
I really miss my Belgian malinois as she was a constant sewing companion. I don’t miss the dog hair on everything we owned, though! Thanks for the cute doggie pics and I am loving the grey and yellow in modern things these days! Have a great weekend
we’ll be celebrating National Puppy Day here even though our sweet girl is 13! She’ll always be our puppy!
Love love the Barn Quilt pattern!
Excited about all the new releases. I just bought the Stretch pattern, Yay!
Love the Barn Star pattern and the fabric collection. Blue and yellow are my favorites.
Would love win this. At a quilting retreat for three days.
Can’t wait to get my hands on Pepper and Flax thanks for the chance!
Not a big yellow fan, but those fabrics are beautiful. 9th & vine calling my name. Not a big doggie fan either, but just inherited a 9 year old Yorkie (his human mommy passed and he had no place to go) and he has stolen my heart. My 5 cats think he’s cute, too. Would love to win.
Best. Post. Ever! Photos of cute puppies, beautiful fabric and inspiring patterns! Be still my heart.
I love puppies, love the geometry of barn stars and love Corey’s colours in Pepper and Flax – big win all round!
Love the puppy pics, the fabric and the barn quilt! Such a fun post!
I’ve seen barn quilts in Iowa, and in Kalona, Iowa, there are quilt blocks in the sidewalks.
I so love the yellow and gray with green in Pepper and Flax. Already sorta have a plan for it when I can get my hands on it. Corey’s patterns are becoming some of my favorites.
I love Corey’s new line Pepper and Flax. Just yesterday I was thinking I needed some. Also, I enjoyed all the puppy’s in today’s post.
Love the puppies and yellow. I am going to make a quilt with yellows to give to a cancer center. Everyone needs some sunshine in their lives.
Love, love, love Pepper & Flax. It is beautiful! Weekend plans? Helping my husband prep for his first job interview in 18 years after being laid off 3 months ago.
Thank you for telling us about “the dogist.” I love it. I would also love to win this kit, because I like yellow.
I usually gravitate toward colorful fabric collections, but there is something about Pepper & Flax that I am drawn to. Would LOVE to have some before the next Moda Blockhead party gets under way!
Yellow, yellow, is my favorite color! And with grey and black and white, it is the best! And the dogs are pretty cute, too!
I like yellow – I don’t have a barn, but I grew up on farms and love old barns and would also love to win this kit!!!
I like yellow. I don’t have a barn. Weekend plans include mowing the lawn for the first time and making banana bread with my son. I really like the puppy pictures– they all look like they were groomed and cleaned before their pictures were taken and are so curt!!!
I love working with yellow and gold fabrics! These are bright and cheerful to brighten up the rainy cold days!
I love yellow. I have a barn. Puppies are coolest as long as they belong to someone else b/c they also make big messes.
I love the yellow floral print on the barn quilt pattern.
Love seeing all the beautiful patterns. Just bought Oh Scrap book yesterday. Love the puppies too.
Oh my! Yes…I love yellow…and this fabric!
I love yellow, have a shed with a barn quilt on it, and love Corey’s patterns and fabrics. I have used 3 of her fabric collections in quilts for the great-grand girls!
I love the new pepper and flax line. I definitely will be making at least one of those quilts. Can’t wait!
I absolutely adore yellow.. I have heard quilters say ‘every quilt needs a piece of yellow’
My studio is painted a lovely shade of yellow – makes me smile every time I walk in! Corey Yoder’s Pepper and Flax pieces would look beautiful in my room!
I have plenty of space for anything you’re moving out and especially a Corey Yoder giveaway!
I love yellow and so does my Mom.
Would love to have these fabrics and patterns! LOVE the weiner dog quilt. Will have to make one for my daughter, whose dog was a long haired black and tan mini dachshund. Speaking of said daughter, she broke her foot Thursday night, so Hubby and I are going over to her house to clean up fallen branches from a big wind storm.
Beautiful fabric, beautiful quilts, darling puppies.
Love Barn Star and all the puppies.
I DO like yellow! It was the color of my bedroom when I was growing up. It’s such a happy color!
Thank you for the puppy pix and info on the photographer! And of course all the fabric info. 🙂
Looking forward to all the new patterns and fabric lines to see at Market. So much to do, so little time….
I love red barns. My dad was a farmer and had a big red barn. And a white one, too.
I love the Coriander quilts! It always amazes me how you-all continue to inspire me!
Sounds like the creator of The Dogist has found the perfect career … let’s just assume he’s set aside time for quilting! Corey Yoder’s blog was one of the first I ever followed years ago when I discovered blogs – way before I got to cheer her on as a Moda designer!
Love the fabrics in this quilt!
Thank you for the giveaway. I enjoyed seeing the cute puppies and fabrics.
It is a toss up whether to like the dogist photographs or the quilts best. I have a soft spot for both. I especially like yellow labs and I like yellow quilts, too.
I love yellow and grey together! This collection is beautiful! Love all the patterns… the Barn Quilt would make a perfect Wee Ones baby quilt!! (I make baby quilts for our local NICU.) Plans for the weekend? I’ve started my very first ever Orange Peel quilt and will be working on that this weekend! Have wanted to try it for a long time! Might also do some biz bookkeeping for taxes… ugg. I’d rather be sewing!! Grin.
Beautiful fabrics! Wonderful patterns! Fantastic colours! Adorable puppies!
These fabrics are so pretty. I would love to make something.
I love yellow and sadly I don’t have a barn. Love the Pepper and Flax fabric collection.
Love the patterns, material and colors, they are so beautiful. Great fabrics. Love all the puppies, wish I could take them all home with me.
I love these colors!
I am new to sewing/quilting; just found your blog – so much inspiration!
Beautiful patterns! Thanks for the chance!
I love all the quilts (especially 9th and Vine) and the fabrics that make up the quilts! How.lucky we are that the shelves have to be cleaned off occasionally for the new fabrics and that you wonderful Moda people give us a chance to win something wonderful.
Market in 2 months! And new collections coming out! Love to see all the new but love, the older collections too. Yes, I love the yellow, black and gray combination. And I also love Corey, she is pretty amazing. Thanks.
I can’t wait for this line to hit the shops! I’ve already got the barn star pattern downloaded!
Yellow! I need to make something yellow! I would put this project at the top of my “to do” list!
The puppies are adorable. I always say I don’t like yellow but the reality is that I really do as I am sitting in my den that I myself painted a nice soft yellow and I love it. The owner of my LQS recently told me that she thinks every quilt needs a little yellow as I was buying a yard of yellow fabric for a quilt. So the truth is I do like yellow and the fabrics you are giving away are beautiful.
I’ve been waiting for that fabric to come in at my local quilt shop, but they decided not to get it. I will need to check around to see who has it because I really like it. We have lots of barn quilts here in Iowa, too.
I would love to do the Barn Star in yellow & grey!
LOVE dogs! That Aussie pup sure is cute. Not too crazy about yellow. But like the dappled pattern.
Ah, Carrie, those dog pictures did my heart good. We are a family with five dogs. Our eldest is very frail these days, so we are treated to some tender scenes, like the one today, when the youngest spent a good bit of time washing his face with kisses and then giving him playful nips on his ears–reminding him of the old days, I suspect, when he taught her how to play and be part of a group. How can they break your heart and fill it at the same time?
Thanks for the smiles. Every day should be Puppy Day, Old Dog Day, and Dog Lover Day. At our house it is.
Beautiful! The quilts, fabric, pattern, and pups. I have two beautiful Irish Red and White setters, Holly and Fenwick. Dogs and cats bring such joy to their people. I’m also a big fan of barns. I just love seeing quilts photographed against a barn
Mmm. Cute dogs, great fabric and patterns. Lemongrass was extra appealing to me. Soft colors in a log cabin with a twist. Made my day.
I wish I had a puppy! Also, I wish I could win something, anything!
Loved seeing the puppy pictures…and the beautiful Quilts, of course. Here in Arizona, we are dealing with temperatures over 90 while a good part of the east coast is trying to find the ground under all that snow. Crazy winter!!
Puppies make me smile…….almost as much as fabric !
Your posts always make me smile! And those new patterns & fabric from a Corey is scrumptious!
I love the grey and black combination of Pepper and Flax. I have a thing for black pepper at the moment – I add loads of it to everything. I can see me adding loads of “Pepper and Flax” to my fabric collection too.
Absolutely darling puppies! Love the quilts and the new patterns. I already have so many quilts to make and not enough time! Now you add more! Thanks for sharing these with us. K-
That yellow fabric is wonderful!
This is a ‘happy’ new collection of fabric. Hope I will the prize!
Ooh, I’d love one of those puppies!
Yellow is my one of my favorite colors, so much so, that I painted my house yellow. Have been waiting for the release of Pepper and Flax since I saw it displayed at Fall Market. Top of my list for must have fabric lines. Puppies! Have a 12 week old ShihTzu. Not getting much sewing done but getting lots of puppy kisses.
No barn , here in Australian we have sheds , and yellow really works in an Australian summer
Puppies and fabric? Is there anything else? Love the collection.
I love Corey’s new fabric and her patterns. Barn Star went on my to do list the first time I saw it.
Love the yellow and black collection. Love barns also – they remind me of the country and relaxing times – yay!
Love all the puppies and those lovely quilts! Thanks for the chance to win!
I have always loved black in a quilt. It accentuate all other fabrics used in a quilt. But I have to say those new yellows are gorgeous. The combination is just great!
Puppies and quilts – the two most precious things in our home!!! My husband would love to have as many puppies as I do quilts (even those in process)……life is full!!!!!
Love this post, puppies and beautiful fabric and quilts.
Always enjoy your blog!
Have 2 rescue doggies. My boy, Manny was a Texas rescue who someone hurt. Had surgery to remove broken hip bones. Doing good now
Really like the colors in this collection…and all the puppy photos!
I love “stretch”. clever name and clever quilt! I am not usually drawn to yellow and green, but I do like this fabric line. Thanks for a chance to win.
We had two beloved terriers (a Cairn and a Westie) and after they passed we adopted two shelter dogs. One is wonderful, the other is more of a challenge.
I really like the Coriander patterns and fabric. Will be looking for them in my local shop!
I would love to work with these fabrics!
I love the pink little dog fabric too. It’s adorable. And yes I like yellow. I’m drawn more to the cool colors, but a shade of yellow is my go to for contrast.
I love Moda fabrics. And I love puppies, dogs, kitties and cats, and most things nature (forget snakes, yuck). And I love fabric! I hope to get to play with some of my fabric and stitcheries this weekend.
Gorgeous pups and quilts. What great way to end the week
I love yellow and puppies! Coriander Quilts has some great patterns coming out.
No barn but what could be happier that yellow! I lost my beloved dog 2 weeks ago, Taffy, a rescued minature dachshund. 6 years of unconditional love.. happily we are adopting a shih tzu in may so it will truly be puppy time!
I need that gorgeous yellow barn star quilt. I need something to brighten up my day
Happy article, Carrie!! My puppy is Sieben (German for the number 7) and he is 6 months old–full of vim and vigor. A miniature Schnauzer, Sieben is the 7th pup of this breed we had the pleasure of adopting into our family. I’m so looking forward to several new Moda fabric lines and the patterns that accompany them. clara-chandler@att.net
I love them all, especially the Barn Star pattern!
Lovely fabrics and patterns (and puppies)
Love yellow and gray fabric
Love the Pepper and Flax collection. The gold fabric is especially beautiful.
Oh my oh my!!! The colors are calling me & the patterns are perfect. Would be hard to put these on a to do list. They call now! Love the puppie pix, always give me a warm snuggly feeling. I have a “barn quilt” block on the side of my “barn”, even though it’s just a small (shed) where my bike, wagon & mower live.
Love the fabrics, love the puppies, and would love to win the give away. Thanks for the opportunity!
I LOVE the All Wrapped Up quilt. I used to have Dachshund and still love those dogs. Love that fabric collection, too – the name is perfect! Thanks for offering it as a give away.

No big plans, just working on more quilts. Love this new fabric line and patterns!
So much fabric, so little time. Love the new patterns!
What fun! No barn and I like yellow but don’t usually use it. Pepper and Flax is gorgeous! Go Red Raiders!!!!
The Pepper and Flax collection of fabric is just gorgeous. I plan on sewing the day away tomorrow. The never ending, ‘I want to make it’ list keeps growing!
There’s so many wonderful lines of fabric coming out! It’s hard to decide which ones are on the can’t live without list.
Never enough time to sew all my want to list. But that sure doesn’t stop me from buying more fabric.
After taking a course on Friday and Saturday, I finally get to sit down to some BOM sewing on Sunday morning!
The dog pics definitely put a smile on my face! Love the yellow and gray in Pepper and Flax. Also thanks for the blog suggestion.
The Pepper and Flax line looks lovely! Those colors would look great in our living room. And we have a big old Post and Beam barn, probably built in the early 1800’s. The most of the beams were re-purposed. Who knew people recycled back then?!!
Lovely puppy pics – thank you. Between those and the fabric/quilts, this is a very happy post.
The new fabric colours are calming a big difference from what I’ve been using.
Love yellow and anything that reminds me of a sunny day!!
I love the Barn Star quilt pattern and the black fabric makes it pop!! Cute doggies too!!
I love big block quilts! They cut down on fabric positioning decisions.
Yellow is so bright and cheery!
These puppies are all cute, but not as cute as your Rosie!
Love to see the vibrant colors in the fabric, especially if it is snowing and grey out my window !
Love puppies, love quilting, love the patterns and the fabric shown! Thanks for opportunity!
Love the dog photos! I have a pup named Rudy, short for Rudolph Holliday. We got him for Christmas, and my favorite baseball player, even though he was traded to the Mets, is Matt Holliday.
We have barns and I would love to have a quilt block on each of them, but so far haven’t been able to make that happen.
Yellow isn’t my favorite color but about every other week it’s my 5-year-old granddaughter’s favorite. It alternates with pink and purple.
Love those puppies!
The puppies are darling! Really like the Barn Star quilt! Anxious to see the new things for Quilt Market!
This quilt would be perfect… I am from Wisconsin, on the last week of three weeks in Arizona… I am missing my barns from my home town… cool quilt and great name…
Absolutely love the puppies, the color yellow and all the patterns.
I love yellow and grey together. Can’t wait for the fabric. Puppies are soooo cute
Don’t know which I like best, the fabric or the puppies. Since I can’t have a dog where I live I will buy3 yards of everything!!!
the puppies are so cute. would love to win.
Love puppies and winning. A new puppy in the family, would love the new fabric, too.
Love the dog pictures. My two year old is currently obsessed with “goggies.” 🙂
