Merry Make Bright!

I know… I know… Christmas is more more than seven months away.  But trust me, you’ll want to know about these.  They’ll be gone by Christmas.

This was the back page of the Moda 2017 Holiday Catalog.

They’re even better in person.  We’re especially excited about these because (1) they’re cute, and (2) we’re already envisioning how we can use them.  And did we mention that they’re really cute?

Each set of ten clothespins comes in a coordinating muslin bag.  There are five different designs in each set, and there are two of each design in each bag.  Two of the clothespin collections were inspired by Holiday collections – Merry Merry by Kate Spain and Red Dot… Green Dash by Me & My Sister.

Merry Merry.

And Merry and Bright!

The MAKE collection was inspired by Moda’s Twill Logo Ribbon and motifs used in Quilt Market materials and collections.

The list of ways that these clothespins can be used is a long one – bulletin boards and banners, card-holders and inspiration boards, attached to magnets or pushpins, used on gifts for attaching a card… there really are a myriad of uses for these clothespins.

But one of our – okay, my! – favorites ways to use the pins is for Advent Calendars during the holidays.  A quick search on Pinterest for “advent calendar clothespins” turned up these wonderful ideas…

Are you glad I didn’t wait?

These will be in shops in August… but I like to plan ahead.  If nothing else, there are lots of wonderful Christmas collections arriving in stores that would be perfect for Advent calendar-type projects… just saying.

Happy Tuesday!

  1. It’s 90 degrees here in Norther CA, but I have to admit I love seeing these charming Christmas clothespins! I am thinking of doing a Christmas quilt and I know I need to start it pretty soon…no matter how hot it is.

  2. Adorable!!!! I’m thinking I want multiples of all 3!! Some for me, some for my sister, and some for my youngest daughter who just bought her 1st home and is ‘nesting’! These are TOO cute!

  3. Thank you so much for allowing us to see your new fabrics before they are in the stores. Our largest quilt store near us doesn’t carry Moda. I will have to look for them on line.
